LVP Flooring in Boise
Ada County
Boise has the widest range of subfloor conditions of any city we work in, and that range is the whole story of installing LVP here. A 1912 North End bungalow, a 1972 Bench ranch and a 2021 Harris Ranch two-story present three completely different prep problems, and pricing them the same way is how homeowners end up with a surprise on install day.

Ada County
Meridian is dominated by production-built homes from the mid-1990s onward, which makes the flooring problem here unusually consistent — and unusually easy to get wrong. Open-concept plans run uninterrupted from the entry through the great room, kitchen and hallway, and a floating rigid plank floor installed across that whole span without a planned expansion break is the single most common defect we are called out to fix in this city.

Canyon County
Nampa splits cleanly into two flooring markets: the older housing near downtown and along the historic grid, where the subfloor is the entire project, and the newer growth on the north and south edges, where the install is fast and the questions are about product and stairs.

Canyon County
Caldwell's flooring work is weighted toward remodels and rental turns in the older housing near downtown and the College of Idaho, plus a steady volume of new subdivision work on the city's outer edges. Turn speed matters here more than in most of the valley, and rigid click-lock plank is often the right call for exactly that reason.

Eagle work skews toward larger custom homes with big open floor plans, and that changes the technical priorities. Square footage per continuous field is high, sightlines are long, and wide-plank products are the usual preference — all three of which raise the bar on subfloor flatness and layout planning rather than lowering it.

Kuna is mostly newer construction with a ring of acreage and semi-rural property around it. The subdivision work is predictable; the acreage work is where the interesting problems live, because rural properties bring well water, septic, larger crawlspaces and more dirt tracked through the door.

Star has grown faster than almost anywhere in the valley, and the housing reflects it: mostly recent construction, large plans, and a lot of homeowners upgrading builder-grade flooring within the first few years of ownership.

Garden City is the most mixed-use place we work: modern infill townhomes next to studios, small commercial suites, and older properties along Chinden. That mix means we move between residential floating installs and commercial glue-down within a few blocks.

Middleton sits between Caldwell and Star and its housing mixes both patterns — steady new subdivision construction alongside older farm properties on irrigated ground. The flooring approach depends almost entirely on which of the two you own.

Mountain Home's housing turns over faster than most Idaho cities because of the Air Force base, and that shapes the flooring decision. A high share of the work is rental turns and pre-sale updates where durability and a short install window matter more than premium material.

Twin Falls is the Magic Valley's commercial center, and our work here splits between residential remodels in the established neighborhoods and glue-down commercial installs in offices, clinics and retail along the Blue Lakes corridor.

Jerome's flooring work is largely practical: durable plank in homes and rentals that take heavy daily use from agricultural work, with mudrooms and entries doing far more than their share of the wear.

Bonneville County
Idaho Falls has the coldest sustained winters of any city we regularly serve, and that has a direct effect on how LVP has to be handled. Material acclimation, install-day substrate temperature and adhesive minimums are not formalities here — they are the difference between a floor that stays tight and one that opens up in February.

Bannock County
Pocatello combines a genuinely old housing stock with hillside and bench topography, and both show up in the subfloor. Historic homes near Old Town rarely have a flat floor anywhere, and that is a solvable problem as long as it is priced honestly at the start.

Rexburg's flooring demand is shaped by student housing on a semester rhythm and by family homes with finished basement apartments. Both want the same things from a floor: it has to take heavy foot traffic and it has to be installed inside a narrow window between occupancies.

Kootenai County
North Idaho is a wetter, milder climate than the rest of the state, and Coeur d'Alene's mix of lakefront homes, second residences and condos brings a distinct set of conditions — most importantly, houses that sit unconditioned for weeks at a time.

Post Falls has grown quickly along the corridor between Coeur d'Alene and the Washington line, and most flooring work here is in recent construction where the install is straightforward and the decisions are about product and detail.

Sandpoint's flooring conditions are driven by two things: heavy snow-season moisture at the door, and homes that are frequently seasonal. Both push the specification toward stability and toward genuinely durable entry zones.
